With her imposing physique and carefully designed curves, she seems to have come straight from the imagination of a painter whose expert and delicate brush would have given perfect proportions to an almost utopian creation. In short, it was love at first sight when we saw her for the first time, in the hills of her kennel in Spain. Even from a distance and still wild, she already gave off an exceptional charisma and presence! But it was when we got home that we had the chance to discover her, and we immediately saw something special in her. She was a fearful mare, because she had only been near humans a few times, but she was uniquely courageous, ready to face danger if it came. Where most horses are impressed, shy, sometimes frightened, Sabra takes the lead, unwavering, ready to assert herself, to defend her own if necessary... An incredible leader! With bravery and audacity, she was the first to dare to approach us, as if carried by a courageous responsibility she had to take: that of making sure that we did not wish them any harm. But her bravery is matched only by her intelligence, and after having made us pass a whole battery of tests, and having made sure that our intentions were good, this exceptional mare behaved in an unheard of way, letting us, from one day to the next, approach her, stroke her, handle her... Without EVER showing any fear! As if she had suddenly let all her worries fly away, almost totally forgetting her wild instinct. Impressive! And, since that famous day, faithful to who she is, and always with ease, assurance and aplomb, she learns, curious about everything, and gives a little more of herself each time... Generous and frank, she never tires of surprising us, willingly building with integrity and intelligence, a true, sincere and whole relationship, in her image. -

With her, the only way to create a strong bond is to prove that you are worthy of her trust, that you have something reassuring to offer her, that you have the real will to discover her... Arrived at the same time as our other mares from Yeguada La Perla, Mezcal was, of all, the wildest, the most distrustful... None of our mares were handled, or even haltered, and it is also this totally "free from human influence" side that we liked! But what a lot of work it was just to be able to stroke them! We had to learn to understand horses again, from the very first base, even for things we thought were so simple, with patience, passion and feeling... Every gesture, every movement we made, had to be rethought, rethought again. This is where our greatest ally is time. So we took time... "TO TAKE TIME IS TO SAVE TIME", as we often say. And that's what we do, we take the time, day after day, to create a relationship of trust, trying to weave a strong and indestructible bond with each of them, taking all the time they need to trust us. This is how Mezcal gradually opened up to Jeremy, generously offering him all the kindness and delicacy she knows how to show. Exclusive, it is to him alone that she has chosen to give herself, without restraint and with absolute delicacy. -

He has incredible qualities, capable of giving you fabulous, suspended sensations, yet he is extremely subtle and delicate. Talented, he takes you with him to new horizons, almost in spite of yourself, inviting you to dream, to dance, to become one with him, in a whirlwind of delicacy, energy, balance... Balance, that word that makes all the difference! This set of forces so correctly distributed that they suspend us from time, from the self, from gravity and make us feel united with the horse, as if by enchantment. It is this exquisite balance, proper to great horses, that makes us hover above the ground, which he often achieves with brilliance, but which hangs by a thread. Like all great Artists, he is sometimes overwhelmed by his sensitivity, his mastery. It is then up to us to try to understand him, to understand this balance which is his, to understand this subtlety and this difference which make him this unique being. The life of a rider is full of reflections, of constant questioning, and each horse is a new story. And Acrobat's story seems so dreamlike... It is not always easy to make the diamond shine out of its case, it requires immense sensitivity and tact... And this is what we try to do every day. Our legend! This album is a tribute to Pablo, an exceptional horse which passed away in 2013 when it was 19 years old, after a nice two-years retirement period. Pablo was a charismatic family horse, bringing us to the horse show for the first time. We learnt dressage and liberty work with this loyal, noble and expressive horse, and we created our first famous act “La Statue” for Pablo. We will never forget Pablo which keeps a very special place in our hearts. -
